The Football Leaders Award will provide a basic and engaging introduction to the organisation of football practices in a fun, safe environment with an emphasis on engaging with the players of today.

The award provides learners with an opportunity to discover and consider the technical and social support that we, as coaches, can provide to our players, discussing various practical aspects. These include: the importance of area size, practice transitions, progressions and regressions, as well as ensuring the learner takes a closer look at themselves, their role as a coach, and how they currently share the messages they provide players.

This course is solely online, can be completed in your own time and will NOT require attendance at a Practical Day.

The Goalkeepers Award will provide a basic and engaging introduction to the organisation of goalkeeper-specific practices in a fun, safe environment with an emphasis on engaging with the players of today.

The award provides learners with an opportunity to discover and consider the technical and social support that we, as coaches, can provide to our players, discussing various practical aspects. These include: the importance of area size, practice transitions, progressions and regressions, as well as ensuring the learner takes a closer look at themselves, their role as a coach, and how they currently share the messages they provide players.

This eLearning course provides a basic and engaging introduction to understanding of the laws of the game.

It provides an ideal learning opportunity for all those involved in our game, particularly those who are moving into game formats and age groups where a match official/referee is introduced for the first time.

Furthermore, completion of the course will provide a perfect opportunity for all who'd like to improve or refresh their knowledge on the laws of the game.

The FAW Talent ID Level 1 award provides an insight into talent ID, scouting, governance and the ‘Welsh Way’.

An introduction that will assist and support students with the fundamentals of scouting. Irrespective of current involvement in football scouting or aspiring to be a scout, this foundation award has the relevant content that will allow students to gather knowledge and place them on the pathway towards the FAW Talent ID Level 2.

The FAW C Certificate has been designed for coaches who have completed the FAW Football Leaders Award and want to further improve their coaching knowledge and skills when supporting players within a practice.

It is designed to educate students in the technical, physical, psychological and social requirements of modern football. It will develop students’ ability to plan, prepare, deliver and reflect on coaching sessions for the development of players.

Students will be provided with a designated mentor to support their individual journey across the FAW C Certificate.

Students are required to attend a combination of practical and theory lectures, complete eLearning modules and distance learning tasks.

Coach Cymru is ideal for those grassroots coaches looking to continue their coaching journey and enhance their learning and knowledge.

Coach Cymru contains OnDemand content which includes eLearning modules, a library of user-friendly session plans that are FAW endorsed and age specific, informative articles, useful resources, coaching practice videos and the annual Grassroots Coaches Conference.

Through Coach Cymru students can also book a space on an upcoming grassroots coach education webinar where they can engage with the tutor.

A three-hour online course developing an awareness of first aid techniques within a football environment.
